Responsibility of Handling Covid-19, PT ZTT Cable Indonesia

The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed Coronavirus Disease ("Covid-19") as a global pandemic after infecting more than 118,000 people and causing the deaths of more than 4,000 people in 114 countries on March 11th, 2020. The Government of Indonesia also issued Government Regulation No. 21 of 2020 concerning Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the framework of Accelerating Covid-19 Handling. Ministry of Industry ("MoI”) supports the productivity of industrial companies in this condition which aims to keep industrial activities going, so that they can help ensure the fulfillment of people's needs for life, therefore PT ZTT Cable Indonesia ("Company") also takes preventative measures by applying anticipatory policies internally in accordance with Circular of the Minister of Industry Number 4 of 2020 concerning the implementation of factory operations during the public health emergency due to Covid-19.
In accordance with the provisions in the Ministry of Industry Circular, here are some anticipatory taken by Company in preventing Covid19:

1. Doing initial screening for all workers through body temperature checks and people with respiratory symptoms such as cough /flu/shortness of breath when entering factory area;
2. If unhealthy workers are found, they will be PROHIBITED in Company's activities and recommend to immediately check themselves at Company/Government health service facility;
3. Ensure the working area has good air circulation and hand washing facilities in each front before entering the building;
4. Ensuring the availability of soap and running tap water for hand washing or alcohol-based hand washing as well as masks, gloves and clothing that ensure the safety of workers and the products produced;
5. Increase the frequency of routine cleaning with disinfectant fluids for areas that are commonly used, such as bathrooms and eating areas, especially during peak hours of activity;
6. To limit the amount of workers when using public facilities, such as places of praying, canteens, toilets;
7. Providing nutritious supplements and food for all workers and also socializing Clean and Healthy Behavior and information about Covid-19 through the installation of banners and graphic information at strategic places in the factory area.
